ABOUT
Her work, marked by site-specific and interdisciplinary inquiries, delves into the implications of Western expansionist and extractive logics, exploring how these forces manifest in the transformation and governance of hydrosocial worlds.
Attentive to the thresholds that shape the conditions for life to flourish, her work traces how power reorganises ecologies across and beneath bodies of water, mobilising submerged perspectives to illuminate fragile, often obscured histories.

Levy is a 2026 Mondes Marins resident at the Camargo Foundation in partnership with L’Art Rue and co-awardee, with Bint Mbareh and Maria Montero Sierra, of the 2026–27 TIDAL ArtS residency in the Azores, hosted by Anda&Fala. She was a 2025 Climate Coloniality resident with PRAKSIS × the Asia Pacific Artistic Research Network (APARN), Oslo; a 2024 FieldARTS resident with the Infrastructure Humanities Group at the University of Glasgow; and a 2024 research resident at the Stazione Idrobiologica Umberto D’Ancona, University of Padova. She was the 2023–24 European Marine Board EMBracing the Ocean Artist-in-Residence and a 2022 S+T+ARTS4Water resident with TBA21–Academy in Venice. From 2014 to 2016, she was a research resident at the Húsavík Research Centre on Marine Mammals and Whale Museum in Iceland.

Additionally, she served on the Steering Committee of the UN Ocean Decade Coordination Office for Connecting People and Ocean (2024–26) and was a guest researcher at THE NEW INSTITUTE Centre for Environmental Humanities (NICHE), Ca’ Foscari University, Venice (2023–24).
From 2029, she will contribute as an artist to Filtering Futures, an ERC Advanced Grant project at Aarhus University focused on contaminant flows and wetland governance.
